Critical Film Review

It's about  a man who quits his house to tear down his old worn out house and then to rebuild it into his dream house. What he ends up doing is also opening the eyes of his family and neighbors.

This movie had more of a dark humorous tone to it. It's a bit clique but it's not to the extreme. Most of the main and background characters are clique. For example, the son is a troubled teen because his parents are divorced at the fault of the dad for being so focused on his job rather than the family. The mom was so sick and tired of living in that run-down house that she left the husband for a richer one. The neighbors are all just as troubled as the main family of this movie.

When I had first originally started watching this film, I didn't like how cheesy it was starting off. I did like the dark humor and risks they used for the movie. Later after the film had progressed, I had started to enjoy the story line along with the characters. The combination of it all made it seem like any other clique film but also made it seem more unique. I give it a thumbs up with a high recommendation for the film. My rating would be a 8 out of 10.
